About the Role
Propstar Technologies is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations Data Analyst to work directly with raw operational data and translate it into actionable business insights. This is an execution-focused role centered on Excel-based analysis, supported by SQL for data extraction and BI tools for reporting and dashboards.The ideal candidate is comfortable working with messy, real-world datasets and can independently structure, clean, analyze, and present insights with minimal supervision. This is a practical, operations-driven analytics positionânot a theoretical or purely strategy-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational datasets, including calls, campaigns, agent performance, and dispositions
- Clean, structure, and prepare raw data for analysis (primarily using Excel)
- Build and maintain Excel-based reports using pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and operational gaps
- Extract and manipulate data using SQL (basic to intermediate queries)
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or Looker Studio (as required)
- Track key KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, and conversion metrics
- Present structured and actionable insights to operations and management teams
- Independently manage datasets from raw data to final reporting output
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, sorting, filtering, data cleaning)
- Ability to work with raw and unstructured datasets
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach
- Ability to ask the right questions before initiating analysis
- Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, GROUP BY, filtering, joins preferred)
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in BPO / call center/operations analytics
- Exposure to dashboard creation and reporting automation
- Ability to handle large datasets and generate actionable insights
- Understanding of performance tracking and operational KPIs
Important Note
- This is a hands-on execution role
- Excel will be the primary tool for daily analysis
- SQL will be used for data extraction and querying support
- Power BI / Looker Studio will be used for periodic dashboards and reporting
- Candidates relying solely on automation tools, AI-based analysis, or high-level dashboards without hands-on data work will not be a fit

ibex on behalf of its Global client seeking a versatile Analytics & BI Specialist to join the European Compliance Analytics team. This role provides crucial analytical support to the EU Compliance team, working on key projects to support recurring & ad hoc regulatory reporting, annual product oversight and governance, and conducting analysis to assess product performance, identify areas for improvement, and enhance customer outcomes, including more advanced and AI-enabled analytical work.You will be an analytics âall-rounderâ, supporting both back-end data transformation and front-end analysis and visualization. A key part of your role will be assisting our team with delivering AI-driven analytics solutions into production. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, collaborative, and passionate about using data to solve complex business problems.
Job Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Collaboration:Â work closely with business stakeholders and lead analysts to understand project requirements and help translate business needs into technical solutions
- Project Support:Â assist in the end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, from requirements gathering and data exploration to building, testing, and deploying solutions
- Data Modelling: contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data models using dbt and Microsoft Fabric semantic models and be confident working with large, complex, and imperfect datasets
- BI & Visualization:Â develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI to provide actionable insights for the Compliance team
- Data Analytics:Â write complex and efficient SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to answer specific business questions
- Insight Generation:Â perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, presenting findings clearly to the team
- Data Governance: help champion data quality and consistency, ensuring that data is accurate, well-documented, and trusted by the business, and support in the triaging of data governance tickets for the Data Governance Forum
Job Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence or related role
- Bachelorâs degree required in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or any quantitative background
- 4-5 yearsâ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related role
- Advanced SQL skills and proven working experience in data extraction, transformation, and complex querying
- Strong experience with a modern BI visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong Python skills with proven experience in automation, scripting, and advanced data analysis, including supporting machine learning and AI-based applications
- Demonstrable experience in data modelling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you must be comfortable handling âclient-facingâ or stakeholder conversations to understand requirements and present findings
- A strong analytical mindset with a high degree of business acumen and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute to several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Desirable:
- Specific experience with Power BI and writing DAX measures
- Experience with dbt for data transformation
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
- Experience with building AI agents
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms
